We take your safety seriously and have introduced a stringent safety protocol for your protection and the protection of our staff. Follow standard mask and distancing guidelines and pay careful attention to the following Special Safety Rules we have established to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe ice fishing experience:
- Book online or by telephone: 705-426-7415; Toll Free: 1-800-363-4704.
- Upon arrival only the person who made the reservation should come into the office wearing a mask.
- Your group is considered an Independent Bubble and will not be mixed with any other group during check-in or transport.
- Bombardier transport vehicles will not be operational due to the close confines of occupants. We will transport each group independently via open-air sleighs towed with a snowmobile.

For over 45 years Floyd Hales Fish Huts a division of W.T. Vieveen Investments has been providing a safe and comfortable winter fishing experience on world famous Lake Simcoe. Just a little over an hour’s drive north of Toronto Lake Simcoe offers a variety of winter sport fish including Lake Trout – Whitefish – Perch and Herring.
Situated in Beaverton Ontario the Vieveen family provides each and every customer with the very best service on Lake Simcoe. Seven Bombardier Buses are available to take you safely to one of 40 modern fish huts each with a capacity of 4 to 6 guests. And of course clean washrooms are located on all fishing grounds for your convenience.

What to bring!
- Bring warm winter clothing, gloves and insulated boots—it can get cold out there and snow can get deep around the huts
- Bring (2) plastic bags—one for fish and one for garbage
- Hand augers are allowed provided they have a guard—NO gas or propane augers allowed!

Just a few steps from our main office, Barney’s Restaurant will start your day off with a “Fisherman Size” breakfast or a Box Lunch to take out in the hut. Stop in at the end of the day and tell us about the one that got away!! Opens at 6:00 a.m.
